pixiestyx, awww, I am so sorry that you was laid off because of that. Jobs can be very scary because none of this is permanent and we are unsure what will come in the future. I really hope you will find a job soon and even better one.

Finding jobs now day is hard. You can put yourself out there and still come up empty handed. It's why I haven't quit yet. If I had a sure thing then, I'd definitely leave in a heart beat. It's hard to let go to though. I live 2 minutes away, and I know the job really well. It's just hard to get out of that mind set. I'm just tired of the constant change. They will tell us to do this one day, and then change it, and even though we do as we are suppose to, we get ugly little notes back saying we didn't do this. I can't cover every department and out side offices. It's just not possible. One thing I can not stand is nit picking. If it's something minor, let it go. If it's something big, discuss it with me like a rational adult please. Every time I get a nasty note I just want to photocopy my middle finger and send it back to that department with the message of "tired of your f***ery"! I can just see it now. With the tattle tales in that place... They'd try to get me fired.

You don't have a preferred field, like Sales, or Medical? I learned from my job, and I've moved up. I worked in ER, and now I'm in Out Patient which you do everything. I could move on to a Billing or Coding Office. If the opportunity comes up, I'm gonna take it.

I hope you do find something that interests you.

So what's your plans for the weekend?

My family has been remodeling our house. My room is actually done. I've just about got all my stuff in, but there are a few things that needed to finished. I helped move out some the furniture in the room we're remodeling next. Now we just have to wait for the hired workers to put in a new floor and walls. It might take them 2 weeks. The house is a mess. My weekend is probably going to consist of cleaning.

Oh yeah, taking care of everything in the house is always the pain in the butt. It's never fun to do all the work because once you are done, there's more to do for other rooms, etc like that.

I'm so drained. I had planned to go out looking for a new bed spread and sheets, but I really don't feel like leaving the house. Moving all that heavy furniture made my back sore.
