[That's My Girl]

Betty and I have been discussing this, and we think that it may be time to close this board. Our post counts have been declining over the past few months and we have very few regular posters. As you know, Fan Forum requires that we average at least 12 posts per day, with lower numbers than that leading to warnings and then possible closure of the board. We would prefer to go out under our own terms rather than be forced to close due to low post counts.

Please let us know what you think. We'd be glad to hear any suggestions or advice to renew interest here. Remember that to keep the board going, we need the commitment of a few regular, dedicated posters. As much as we love this board, please don't just post to "save" the board and then disappear again, because we'll be in the same position that we're in now if you do.

The boards always has met the required count but it's been so quiet for some time that we think it's time for it to close. With nothing new with the girls for so many months, we want to go on our terms.

We've known for a while that the board wouldn't survive long and the pandemic didn't help because it's just us 3 (betty, dork and I). With the hiatus and lack of news, i just dont feel the energy i used to, to mod this board.

I'm always gonna remember this board, it's my baby which I fought for 6 years ago and it became a part of my life for over 5 years. I will cherish the time I had here, meeting so many people who have become confidents/friends (not you dork lol)

I loved the girls so much for so many years that I feel that I grew up with them but I'm no longer in the mindset to be here on this board because my life has moved on from here.

If someone is ready to be active here and be a moderator, then it's amazing and I hope for the board to survive

It's always sad to see boards close. I appreciate when mods acknowledge that they're losing interest or they just no longer have the time to devote to their duties. Thanks to Em and Betty for the time they've devoted to keeping this board active.

If anybody is interested in keeping this board open, a moderator opening can be posted. Or perhaps you all feel that a thread at the general Music board is sufficient at this time?

Aww! I’m so sorry to hear y’all are having to make this decision, but it’s totally understandable. It’s so hard to keep a board going when there’s only a few of you posting. Believe me, I know. I’ve had to step down from Shawn, because even though I still love him, I’ve just lost interest in the board (although I will still post there from time to time).

I wish I could tell you to keep the board open because I would love to post here, but as you know, I only post in the Camila thread and I just don’t think that’d be enough to keep the board going.

I feel you Jess 5H has been in my life for over 8 years now (and the board 5) and leaving the board is hard but like you i dont feel the excitment and joy I used to that's why we wanna see if someone wanna put the work in bc betty and I are not in the mindset to do more.
