Definitely! And honestly if you're not hooked by the end of the mini-series, then Ep 1 will do it. The show is so intense.
A friend and I rewatched the show starting from season 1 right before Season 4.5 came out and we both went "Whoa...they're all so happy and carefree!"  __________________

Going to make a mini-series thread unless someone beats me to it by the time tomorrow night rolls around
 33 minutes  what an amazing episode and an amazing episode to start the series off onS1 as a whole was just epic  shorter than the others but just worked perfectly that it was shorter. Every episode was gold and just the intensity rocked__________________

I going to soon start BSG with my mother. She will be watching it for the first time. I hope she like it. She isn't into a lot of Sci-Fi.

My mom wasn't into sci-fi, and neither was I, when we gave BSG a shot
And then we never looked back Season 1 is flawless.__________________

It is technically Sci-fi, but not always super heavy. Like there's no aliens and all that. Just the Cylons. I found that really interesting. It's unusual for a show to take place on a spaceship and not have aliens in it.

Weirdly cause at one point was on US Netflix then was removed
cause tried to get a really good  friend to watch it but wasn't her thing afterall Quote:

It's strange that it's not. I wonder why they removed it.
Then again, sometimes *not* having a show on netflix generates interest because people are like "well it must be good if they don't want to give it away for free." I think my favorite part about season 1 was them going to Kobol. I'm a fan in general of ancient history, and for them to find what amounts to a nearly fabled planet that was their origin just It'd be like finding the Garden of Eden or something.__________________

I know done in the US
 BSG was on Netflix for a time being, then it was removed last Fall  never been lucky enough to have it up here it Canada one point Original Series was on but that's gone, I believeKobal was quite interesting  and what happened on the planet too, but that's S2  them finding Kobal peaked my interest cause like you,  History and especially Ancient History__________________

Well, I got my mother to watch the mini-series pilot and then the first two episodes. More to come with that later...
She is aware of the 12 cylon models of course. Despite me telling her of them years ago. Currently she likes the show. I won't say love right now because I am not sure on that. Still she at this moment believes that President Roslin is a cylon. We have only finished season 1 episode 2 water. More to come later. So say we all!  |
