| Hi, I'm Rachel  I am very glad this thread was started. I too just started watching this show thanks to the SciFi channel and I'm afraid to read the other threads because I don't want to read spoilers for episode that haven't been shown yet. | Moderator Manager | Yes, it was a hatched job by FOX. They axed DA on May 15th of that year, b/c the official annoucement for their lineup was made on May 16th. Prior to that, it was all but certain that Dark Angel was coming back. There was never a sign of cancellation. Apparently the big wigs were unhappy with the ratings, and the show's storyline and budget. They also got "wooed" by Joss W. who wanted to create "Firefly" and wrote another draft of his pilot and they chose to gave him the timeslot/budget for Dark Angel. At the time of the cancellation, Jessica and Michael were in Germany promoting S2 of Dark Angel...yeah, so I would say very sudden and unexpected. | Fan Forum's Finest  | Aww i'm such a bad fan. I started the thread and never came back, but I have been watching. I'm so hooked again on this show. I love it. I love Jessica, she's so pretty, and I love Max/Logan. I think we're almost through with S1, maybe another week or so. I don't know why I stopped watching S2, considering I loved S1 and do again. Does anyone know if they switched nights for the 2nd season when it originally aired? | Moderator Manager | Not sure if you fall in the category of "bad fan" Jessica was amazing in S1. Season2 look was OK. I think when "Sam" came on for the one episode, her look was great again. They did move the show twice during S2. Season1 was on Tuesday nights at 9pm. Season2 was moved to Friday nights at 8pm, then halfway through moved to the 9pm slot on the same night.
