| Elite Fan | A while ago I met a guy who served as a sniper in Iraq. This man preferred to carry a .50, because "shooting through walls kicks ass". Anyway, since its considered a war crime to specifically target people with that rifle, the Army will only use it against war material. This includes weapons, ammo, radios, things of that nature. The last one I saw was from a brief firefight in Afghanistan. 1 marine guide went out in a civi truck with some "contractors" at night. And it seems the Taliban are just awful at recon, because when they opened fire on that truck they failed to notice the two humvees less than 400 yards away.
