I'll be honest, for the middle 30-40 minutes I was kinda bored. But the last 20 minutes were awesome. Jamie Foxx was kick@ss.

The next time I decide to watch a movie, I'll go to the dollar theater. Unfortunately, the movies that are currently playing there still absolutely suck (Prom Night anyone ?)

This particular dollar theater plays movies shown a while ago and the admission fee is $1 as opposed to regular theaters that charge between $5 and $7

You pay that little? I pay 9 for regular movies and 3.50 for the discount theaters....I wish we still had a 1 dollar theater around.

On the rare occasions when I venture into a theater, my friends and I just hit the Saturday matenay(sp?). Only 4.50 and even in Columbia the theater is usuallly pretty empty that time of day.

I think the last time I went to a theater was for 300. Before that it was Spiderman 2. Yeah, I don't go to theaters often.

Spiderman 2 was like 4-5 years ago! :shock: I went to see the Brave one when I went to Dubai a few months ago but that was only cause I missed going to the cinema.

Well, when you have a widescreen monitor, high speed internet, and 5.1 surround sound at home the cinema loses a lot of its appeal.

How it is possible that you pay so little?

In big citys we have to pay 11 euros and little one it is 7 euros. So 13 and 8.5 dollars.

My country hasnt accepted the copyright laws

so we actually watch movies (censored of coure :yuck

on TV while theyre in the cinema everywhere else and DVDs are cheap cause theyre illegal cause theyre uncensored.

Mind you, the cinemas are cheap too but thats cause theyre crap.

That's actually fairly common in the Philippines as well when I went there about four years ago. Of course, some of the DVDs that they have sold didn't actually work.
