Also I imagine it would take some time for Van & co to find out that Ethan was shipped back to America, and then more time to find out where.

I know white isn't Vanessa's color... but has she looked at Ethan's thigh in those pants? I would reconsider my stand on lighter shades.

God I hope we actually get to see them happy together for real. It occurred to me earlier that my ships consist almost exclusively of pairings that get separated for whatever reason. I don't know why I do this to myself

Would it console you a bit if I said that with my last two ships, one saw one half of the pair die, and with the other my conscience is still rebelling because they're siblings?

Your ships don't sound so bad anymore, do they?

I was sort of expecting the separation because I predicted Ethan turning himself in, now that I think about the hiatus, and the possible time jump, and the episodes they'll spent separated, I realize I wasn't ready to deal with this at all, lol.

One of my favorite ships had their first kiss moments before one half got shot and appeared to die in front of the other. Person B then spent the rest of the season on a rage- fueled hunt for Person A when she wasn't in a grief stricken stupor.

And holy crap the time! We're gonna have to wait a year for a new season and then a bit longer to see them together!

But person A of my ship died after breaking up with person B thinking they didn't love them, and person B spent the whole next season guilt-driven and without hope left.

...You know what, we both need to choose more carefully what shows to get invested in. We might need to switch to comedy series.
This is the one thing that truly sucks compared to network television - hiatuses there last, what, 3-4 months max?

Yeah, the wait is horrible for shows that air in spring-- especially on this kind of cliff hanger!

When do they usually start filming the new season?

I think they start filming PD sometime in August. Not much later than a fall season show.

Thanks! I'll be praying for some on set pics. We might get a few when they first go back to set, not much later on.

I can't even count on fanfics to help with the withdrawal because we get one a month on average.
