I have this doubt that what I was seeing wasn't Vanessa's deepest longing, but mine, and Satan is actually trying to target and tempt me.

It was! But the whole scene did kind of have Satan's noticeable touch and that's why, I think, Vanessa turned it down. She wants to be with Ethan and have a family, but neither Eithan nor Vanessa are suited for the stuffy upperclass lifestyle they had in the dream.

Except the suggestion about having lots of sex. That was very genuine and nothing will convince me otherwise.
The kids were precious, though, especially cheeky Charles. I'm excited to see the show move some of his focus on America next season, but I imagine the first few episodes of S3 will be hell to watch. Who knows what's waiting for Ethan once there. __________________

Waiting for Ethan & Vanessa to be reunited is gonna be hell to watch.
I do love that Brian recognized her, and as predicted, she had no fear once she realized it was Ethan and he was calm. Her look of utter love and compassion in that scene took my breath away! __________________
