That relationship was just so cute I would have liked her so much better if she had not been introducing Jesse to heroin. I wonder if the plan was always for Jane to die when they introduced her or it that was something that they built up to.

I think it was the plan from the beginning. It was a big moment in Walt's character development and I know at first they were going to have him kill her on purpose. It was also a big change in Jesse's character

Yeah, I think I heard this on watching the "Writer's Room" episode for Breaking Bad. I like that they didn't do that, and made it more of a dramatic scene. Walt could either let her live and have her take Jesse from him, and possibly lead to Jesse dying, or he could let her die. Bryan said that during the filming for that scene, he cried because he pictured as if it was his own daughter in that situation.

Also I was just thinking about them yesterday in a conversation with a friend. We were talking about how you should keep a voicemail of someone you love because one day they might be gone unexpectedly, and my friend mentioned when Jesse kept listening to Jane's voicebox message.
