We absolutely have to clock in and out at the exact times for our schedules that week, so I can't work during lunch and use that time to take off early or something. I hate our time system. My boss usually never sees me either, but because of that she will always know when I am there and not there.

We have hourly employees that do punch in but I am salaried so there is really no way for my boss to know when I am there. I do have an assistant that is going from parttime to fulltime and I have to keep track of her time. Right now I sometimes go days without seeing her so I guess some bosses just have to trust their employees, I mean if they are getting all their work done, does it matter? We basically pay to get work done in my opinion, of course some jobs need someone there so I understand the time clock thing, some employees do have to punch the clock but they are union as well.

Just going to my mom's house. Today I ordered 2 cords of wood and the guy calls and said he could bring it today but after that not for awhile so now I have to spend the evening stacking wood but it will be good when it gets colder, plenty of wood to keep the fireplace insert heating my house. I am trying to post some now before he shows up. Oops he showed up right after I posted. I moved as much as I could for now, that is a lot of wood

Yeah that is usually how it happens. It got dark fast so I just bought a tarp to throw over the wood I could not move because it was so dark. But my house will be really warm
