Yes, I am rewatching (more than our rewatch) and I see the progression and the things he went through, like the turtle head, the Tuco encounter and recovering from being shot. All these things seem to affect/change him.

It was sad that he had to die in the last season
 That was really the end for Walt. This show was so much about people changing. There were a bunch of people that went through a progressive change during the show like Skyler, Jesse, even Walt.( well especially Walt) |

Hank dying is one of the most heartbreaking scenes of the whole show. I just got chills thinking about it.

It was heartbreaking because even with all the Breaking Bad that Walt did during the show he was willing to go to jail rather than have Hank killed
It was sad when it happened and I think it really made a change in Walt where he tried to rectify some of what he did. |
