My fiance was he was talking about how he wanted to be productive during this time, and he wanted to volunteer for Catholic charities but wasn't sure how super-Catholic he needed to be. I said right in front of the priest, just fudge it a little and our priest looked me like , he was like, 'Seriously, I'm sitting right here.' Before this pandemic, my fiance is not a practicing Catholic but he's getting better, and I'm just...well, I know what I'm comfortable with. But it was a really funny moment. __________________

According to UPS, I should have my wedding ring delivered by the end of tomorrow!!! And my fiance and I will are coming up our 50 day mark this week!!!
Pretty much once we hit September, that will be our last full month before our wedding day. We're almost there, I'm so excited!! I've already sent out invites for my bachelorette party, which will be a virtual karaoke  Just a small group of friends too. Nothing too big. My fiance will have a video game party with his friends.__________________

I just called our reception venue. They've been giving us the run around for two months, and I finally got through to someone. Our event there is finally cancelled and you would think a pandemic would be considered an 'act of God,' but no, they won't refund our deposit. Our wedding planner is going to fight them on this. A pandemic is completely out of our control. No pandemic, we wouldn't be in this mess. It's that simple. My fiance is upset too.
Some good news, my wedding ring is here! __________________

My hygienist was telling me she knows people who have socially distanced receptions where people wear masks. IDK why the venue can't do that for you. Put everyone outside. Early Oct is still nice weather.
