You shouldnt be... Just go in there with a high head and tell her... You have the right to have a Vacation, just like anyone else...

I don't like the person who proposed 2 day weekends.

I told her today. As expected, she grabbed her calendar to see the days I need off and she said to me "So you're going back to the long vacations?" (catty bit--) She was referring to me taking 7 days vacation in the past. And I told her one of the days is a National Holiday, so we're given the day off anyway.
Imagine if we lived in Norway...they take whole months off. She'd have a heart attack.

Haha, yeah she would freak for sure... And she has no right to act like you have been away for longer then 7 days... I mean come on... What is her problem anywhy...? Please tell me you got your holiday...??

You need to take it higher up. You have day off entitlement and as long as you give a months notice you can take all 28 days off in a row if you want to, 5 days (I'm assuming weekends you get off anyway) isn't major and there's no need for her attitude. I'd complain to someone higher and say you'll be sueing if it isn't looked into about employer gross misconduct or at the very least emotional distress.

It was amazing, really run down since yesterday though.

Got back midday today.
