Yea, I really don't get what the rush was. Desperation, maybe? Loneliness? Like he wanted companionship so bad and when he sees a girl of childbearing age it's like Hallelujah! God has provided me with someone....idk. He was so overeager.
I wonder if he had been more patient, would it have mattered? Cause I never got the sense that Anna felt any attraction to him or interest in him. She seemed very aloof. __________________
