I agree, plus as much as i was excited for the frozen storyline, i didn't like the white queen thing

I must be in the minority of people who loved Season 2. (It gave us the masterful 'The Crocodile', after all It did feel disjointed when I first watched (marathoning on netflix) but then I found out why. Colin had broken his leg and part of Hook's stuff had to be written out for those episodes.

Yup That had something to do with it. My favorite episode is in season 2 It had great moments but overall it was a disjointed arc.

Those 5 episodes really stymied the season's story. I think a lot of the fandom angst was due the story missing the momentum and other characters had to fill the gap with additional scenes which made no sense.

Season 2 had like maybe 3 good episodes? Whereas other seasons had a dozen

Season 4 I thought actually had some really great stand out episodes but everything just got smushed to make room for so many new characters.

Agreed, I mean I wanted more with Emma in the EF and her nursery

I am dying for Emma flashbacks in the time that was between her giving up Henry and when he comes to Boston for her. 10 years of stuff there!
