I associate Robert with Hamish MacBeth which was the first role I saw him in, so my first experience was falling for him, rather than being scared. Having said that, I've still never watched Trainspotting. I saw part of it once and decided it wasn't for me!

Technically I saw him first in the Full Monty & The Beach when I was a kid but don't remember those movies all that well, so I consider the first movie I saw with him to be TS because I remember it scene by scene and his character personality.
TS is a fab film but I can understand it not being everyone's cup of tea. __________________
