Big flakes! Has it melted since then?

It's gone away a bit, but it's still around and a lot more icey. The snowman is still there... sort of He fell down but the big balls are still lay there.

Shocking tbh, we had a bit of rain yesterday and temperature's dropped to -6, which made everything very lethal. School's got closed on snow days Monday-Tuesday, but Wednesday when it was a lot more dangerous to be out, they were open?

Do you guys have a certain number of days kids need to be in school? Here it's 180. Maybe they opened school Wednesday to avoid extending school into summer months?

School terms don't get extended here, Vic. However low attendance figures do affect their OFSTED score, which is how all schools are rated by the Government, so that could be why.
