7x19 'Flower Child'
{AIRS: 27th April, 2018}

Tilly and Rogers find themselves in danger after an encounter with Eloise, forcing Tilly to make
a life-altering decision when Rogers' life is threatened. Meanwhile, Henry and Jacinda's relationship
takes a step forward, but despite Lucy's efforts, their union doesn't provide the answers she's
seeking. In a flashback, young Gothel seeks revenge after her home is destroyed.

I knew Gothel would have some powerful reasons why she's doing what she's doing, but it in no way makes me feel sorry for her after what she did to Alice, just because her daughter was half-human. Only now after its all too late she wants to be a mother, just because she's belatedly found out her daughter has magic. No thanks!

I felt like a scene was missing, how was that cop supposed to have woken the other witches?

All the plant related magic of Gothel makes sense now.

I was pleasantly surprised that Facilier cured Henry. I wasn't surprised that the TLK didn't work, seeing as no saviour was involved this time. Snow and David couldn't break the first curse either.

I really enjoyed the episode. So nice to have some bonding scenes with Rogers and Tilly, too.

I want Weaver to save the day next week!

I watched it this morning and thought it was a decent episode. I'm not sure whether Gothel having mud poured on her is a solid excuse for her being so evil, but hey ho.

I wish we had seen that too, especially since the witches had been hyped since the winter finale.

I thought it was more because her family was murdered and home destroyed... But the mud thing was not fun.

She went evil before they did that though.

And there's literally no excuse for turning on random fairy tale characters like Hook, Rumple etc just because she had mud poured on her by people completely unrelated to the plot.

Well I think the idea is she hates all humans, including her own daughter, because it was humans who killed them. So I kind of understand that. I'm not saying it's at all reasonable or thought-through, though.

For the last ever series I thought the villain would have had more motive than given. it's a shame for the people who still enjoy the show as much as season 1-3.
