I had to wait a bit longer to see this episode, but I've managed to see it now.
Nice to see Rumple on the hunt for Ana. Regina you should have told him about the dagger!  I enjoyed the flashbacks, and Gothel's manipulation of Drizella, I didn't think she had much other choice than to kill Gretel. It doesn't explain to me why she did such bad things later on, though. I enjoyed the fact Ivy had a wobble and a hard time to do the right thing, I didn't buy into her redemption however, eventhough she was prepared to sacrifice her life, just minutes before that she hadn't tried to protect Ana's. I would have preferred for her to have stepped in and stopped it herself. Also I really wanted her stay and try to work with the heroes to put right the things she did wrong. I was glad Rumple is doing the right thing. I enjoyed seeing him threatening Facilier, though. Facilier does seem to care about Regina, though. Giving her that magic was a bit of a surprise. Fun scenes for Henry and Jacinda. The killers right under your nose... it was such a surprise it was Nick doing it. I wonder why? Has he remembered? I missed Tilly, nice to have Rogers mention her, though. __________________

It was an alright episode, expected a bit better.
I see we've got back to the Ivy envy stage, which I think the producers should have just got past when we got rid of it weeks ago. They really need to move forward to get things finishing nicely before the finale. Ivy sprayed him in the face with pepper spray and he was in pain? The close up of his mask indicated no eye holes, they were filled in blue... so... not sure what the logic behind that was.  As much as I love Adelaide, I so can't wait for her to get a part in something else. I mean... her American accent is awful. The moments with Gothel were good and it was great finally seeing Rumple. There were definitely some good moments, like between Regina/Ivy and then the whole Arcade scene with Henry/Rogers.
But it didn't really do anything for the main plot moving forward, other than the last few seconds where you find out who is in the mask. |
