7x10 'The Eighth Witch'
{AIRS: 15th December, 2017}

When Drizella threatens the realm with a dark curse, Henry and Ella take extreme actions to
protect Lucy and the others; and Regina is forced into making an unimaginable choice. In
Hyperion Heights, Roni recruits Henry to travel to San Francisco to search for her sister, but
when he learns Lucy has fallen unconscious, Henry rushes to be by her side. Meanwhile,
Gothel earns the trust of Anastasia and the consequences of their budding relationship could
prove to be fata.

For a mid season finale... I guess it had the little spunk it needed. I'm not a big fan of Zelena, but she really excelled this episode i think.

The beginning was very season 1 reboot mixed with sleeping beauty, but it was okay. Everything else i enjoyed.

I love that Regina and Zelena were getting along and how old her daughter Robin had got. They have chosen such a good looking actress to play her. it's annoying that she's with Alice though, like I get they're trying to support that community, but it doesn't need to be kept thrown in your face, they're bringing way too many lesbian couples into it now.

Regina and Henry on the bikes to Zelena's workout made me laugh.

Flying monkeys, freaking brilliant.

Cursed to be a hippie. She's funny.

I adore seeing imp rumple again too. He is such a fun character who will never get old.

Didn't really care for Lucy or her birthday or anything to do with her really.

We had some decent amount of Colin/Wish Hook, love that he helped trap Drizella and he confronted Rumple. Loved it. Another short moment with his daughter too.

Am I correct in saying if Wish Hook looks the same as Enchanted Hook that the baby Hook is having with Emma is the same actress playing the older one?

Great episode! My thoughts in no particular order:

So why is Rumple impRumple again?

Love that Robyn (Robin?) is an archer like her dad, good reference there.

Loved the comment about the timeline, I get the impression timelines really make no sense anymore!

Would have liked to have seen more of Robyn and Alice.

So Hook gave up his daughter for Lucy!

Regina cast the curse?

I do think this means she has more control over it than Ivy realises.

Nice tie-in with the end of season 6.

Loving the sisters Zelena and Regina!

Love that Regina woke her up, although it seemed a little too easy.

So Regina's blood is all that's needed to cast a curse now? Seems a bit of a cop-out.

Love the Rogers/Tilly team-up.

I so knew Ivy would be betrayed and have to realise her errors!

Now she'll have to work with her mother to get out of that hole!

Poor Anastastia! Just seems to be everybody's pawn.

TLK didn't work on Lucy!

In conclusion I was surprised that the timeline showed us the curse-casting so soon. I was spoiled on Alice/Robyn but I liked it anyway. At this rate everyone will be awake before the curse is broken... Exciting fun episode, though. I really enjoyed it, and look forward to the return in the spring.
