The first couple of minutes really annoyed me. After the big deal Killian made over telling David he killed his father, and Emma told him without us even getting to see it? I'm so angry.

On the other hand, I loved the ladies night out. Snow at her finest. It really made me happy. The ending was a great climax, I'm really excited for the next episode. I don't think Emma is going to kill the Black Fairy though. Am I to assume Gideon is giving up on killing her though?

I loved all the moments with Colin, he was amazing. His accent came through at times, but it was great.

Jasmine's acting was awful... and the actor who plays Jafar is I loved him in the Mummy. That accent.

I liked the episode despite some dubious story-writing choices at times. It seemed terribly easy to get out of those genie cuffs, I don't remember that in Once upon A Time in Wonderland. Plus it seemed they were shoe-horning Ariel into the episode for a time in the flashback, but I guess they were leaving it to us to assume Jafar took that magical necklace, and it made more sense when it turned out it wasn't Eric at all.

Loved the connection over shell-phone at the end, I'd hoped Emma would find out the truth in this episode. My question is: why did Gideon re-forge the sword if he wasn't going to try and kill Emma? Yes, to getting Emma to help, no, to blackmailing her and using her and Killian's TL against them. When we do see the black fairy she'll be terribly proud of the villain he's turned into, no doubt.

I was sad that we didn't have more of Nemo and Liam.

Snow was hilarious, and good to see her acting out for once.

The scenes with David were too short, but at least he was in the episode for once.

Jasmine's great shame was that she was tricked by being prepared to sacrifice her own happiness for her people? I was expecting more than that.

She didn't have a great episode for sure.

Colin was great, though I agree.

So i'm the only one who's bothered about the lack of David confrontation about his dad being murdered by Killian then?

I never expected much of one tbh. Maybe there was stuff cut out, but it doesn't really bother me. There are plenty on the OUAT board who are though. In a way I was kind of surprised he was told at all, I wasn't sure if he was even going to be in this episode.

I've watched the scene a few times now, yes David is annoyed, probably will hit Hook or whatever when he sees him, but it seems to me to be a good thing he put his own feelings aside to comfort his daughter.

Murder is no big thing on this show, Regina killed Snow's dad, Cora killed Snow's mum, Snow killed Regina's mum, Zelena killed Henry's dad. Hook, Rumple and Regina all killed their own fathers. Hook and David have a close friendship, which will overcome this.


I'm not sure how you expected it to play out, tbh.

What do you mean? I was expecting what every viewer was expecting. To see him actually be told, to see his face drop and see the pain. Instead we got a 5 second "I can't believe it" and that was it. After all the trouble Killian went through dealing with the thought of having to tell him and we didn't even get to see someone tell him. The producers made a big thing out it, they made it seem like a plot twist, then did nothing about it.

I really hope that this show don't get renewed because it's just heartbreaking watching the writing slip

Ok, I get it now, I just wasn't clear on what you meant. Yes they should have shown that.

I'm undecided if I want another series or not at this point. The writing has become a little sloppy, perhaps as they are now finding it hard to keep surprising the audience, so they are changing the internal laws of the show in order to do this. I'm still enjoying it though.

Do you think they filmed her telling him and cut it, or didn't film it at all?
