Yeah, Anne Boleyn was the best story of all Henry VIII wives. I can imagine the show would have suffered a bit when she lost her head

It picked up once Anne of Cleves became his wife. I didn't hate Jane Seymour, but the war storyline took my brain out of the show.

I couldn't get into that show for some reason. I think it's because I studied that history so much that the historical inaccuracies were too much for me

The thing that gets me most about Reign is that they made Mary Stuart a protestant sympathizer. Real Mary would never. I can take the inaccurate costumes, but changing personality traits----no.

I'm actually a massive fan of Reign. People need to get over the fact that it's a fantasy show... like christ they modernised it so what it's not a retelling. Most people are annoyed because they're making up characters ITS A WORK OF FICTION. When people bring up Reign it gets me vexed.

 It's annoying because 80% of fans left the board because the show had too much fantasy in it, when before it started they announced that it's mostly fantasy and 5% history. I guess so but there' plenty of films for that. CW are famous for their fantasy genre and i love it  |

I don't mind ghost stuff or magic. I'm surprised other fans did. The thing that annoyed me most was Mary/Conde.

I'm all for fantasy and historical fiction. i think I just have a hard time with those two because I studied that time period so extensively it's too hard to let go so it's better that I don't watch it.
