Well, the end of the name is where the mispronunciation happens ... in the US we would typically say HUE whereas elsewhere (and the correct pronunciation) is more like HOO

But yeah, they asked some really weird things ... like are all Irish people creative ... I swear they were two minutes away from asking him if he knew any leprechauns.

I pronounced it wrong until I heard him say it ... although I still pronounce it wrong when my friends ask who the actor is who plays Hook ... I try to downplay how much I know about him If I pronounced it correctly I'm sure I would get some concerned looks

My friends notice everything I say ... I'm from the east coast but I live in the midwest so I pronounce some words differently and I get teased about it sometimes.
