On the Fan Art board they've got a Scavenger Hunt challenge at the moment & one of the make something prompts was to make 5 icons showing character evolution. I picked Laurel (E1) ~~& ended up with 6 icons~~. I don't know how well they show her evolution through the show but oh well, here's 6 random icons

tbh she was the only character I could think of who has a major growth which could be captured in icons semi-easily. Other characters may grow but do they grow 5 times & in a noticeable enough way that you could icon that? Then how obvious would it be to see that growth for people who don't know the character/show? There's probably lots of characters who fit it & could work for it, but Laurel jumped out at me. I feel that the growth of Katie on Arrow may be easier though

I agree completely, Chelle.

She is one of the few characters on shows that I can think of that had such character growth and stepping stones that made her who she was in the end.

I really wish they didn't kill her. It definitely seemed before her time.

I'm glad her run was so strong and impactful though. She was a great character.

I just hope they somehow bring her evolution now into BS.. then I could get okay with it.. somehow..

I definitely agree that I'd like BS to also have a great arc, though I think it'll be sort of parallel yet separate from Laurel's journey, because of how BS is starting.
