That is interesting about Willa only contracted for some of the episodes. Perhaps she has wanted out, especially considering her character also stepped away from being a part of the team (at least the last I have seen/am aware of). If that is the case a part of me feels it should have been her which was killed off instead of Katie but that is mean and for all we know Katie wanted out as well.

The channel which airs Arrow here shared a similar article here last week (on the night Arrow airs funnily enough ). They seem to at least have ideas for her which is good to know, it is just about communicating with her and getting the schedules and contracts to line up.

I thought they had a contract with her so she could appear across all the shows though? I guess that just means they can bring her into all of them but she is free to do whatever and if the timing works out she can come do what they want. If it does not work out then too bad for them, she does not have to do it. So she is not actually contracted to do anything, she just knows that they may call her for any of the shows and agreed to that?

WHAT? Katie wanted out? Never got that impression - Willa I can understand maybe if she wants to lessen especially her not being Speedy anymore and not much they can do with her anyways

For Paul, I expect it, as I do not consider him a main so much. Thea is less of a main but I would still see as one of the mains before I would say Quentin .

I have no idea if Katie wanted out, I was simply saying that for all we know behind the scenes the reason why she was chosen was because she wanted out. That could be a secret that they do not wish the fans to know as we have no idea what went on or why she was chosen, we only know what they tells us. I never got the impression Katie wanted out or a lesser role but that does not mean it is not the case.

I presume the big contract does not mean much at all if they need to do another contract for her to actually appear . I suppose in a way the big one means she cannot say no, she has to at least hear out their ideas and see if she can make it work? Or perhaps she is still contracted to The CW so the only things she can do is appear on their shows? Or she cannot have a new pilot (or could not last season)? I have no idea how contracts work but if they need a second one for her to appear then it does make the big one seem like nothing.

True.. it's possible.. but as it appeared and what she said and how much she seemed to love her character and the work she put into it.. I highly doubt she wanted out..

If she wanted out then there was a lot of covering up and lying going on . You could love your role and still want out but she never seemed to give off the impression that she did feel that way. I know there are people who presume she wanted out but they presumably are people who did not like her, her character, or both.

This just makes me confused about the big contract. It does not make sense unless what they are doing now is not so much a contract but seeing if she is available to do what they wish for her to do and getting her to say yes?
