Being a superhero and being Black Canary is a completely different deal

so I personally like seeing her training on screen because unlike Thea; hers was mainly off screen and yes she's came a long way. Though she herself started during summer hiatus; so she's had Malcolm training her for what 6 months. Laurel herself only started a few months ago; so she'll get there but rather see it on screen

I agree. I love that Laurel really has to work for this and that she sometimes makes mistakes. It makes Laurel so much more real for me.

Tried looking for the rest of this scene

the part where she mentioned about how Quentin saw right from the start that she was meant for saving the city. That in the flashback what he said to her and she came back with that he always knew she was being led to the mask

That whole scene killed me

but yet it was so amazing at the same time

I was so upset at Quentin. The way he was so gross with her in the flashback and got pouty and mean in present time. Just no.

And it grew when Laurel confessed her mother already knew

He was harsh, but the moment was beautiful all the same.. He'll get over it and he'll understand

I was speaking more of the past. That was just so gross and really offputting. The dialogue was bad. I understood why he was angry in the present, but it still it was a hard scene
