I completely agree. This is why I fear the writers will make them enemies or put them against each other; there seems to be a divide in the fandom and a necessity to make things Oliver/Laurel vs Oliver/Felicity even when it is not happening in the show. I fear what exists in the fandom may end up in the show even though it would be a storyline done before in countless shows and there are fans who would prefer to see these two as friends. The show and fanbase has enough tension without putting more between characters when it is not necessary.

Horror stories and Felicity's reactions would be good

It really would. I'm not caught up but it seems like S3 is a perfect opportunity for this friendship to start to develop.

Yeah I think thats a genuine fear to have, I hope its not the case though.

I really would much rather see Felicity and Laurel be BFF's and talking about boys and stuff, than being enemies OVER a boy, that storyline is so overdone and run into the ground, it's not INTERESTING ANYMORE!

Yeah girls being friends and DEFENDING each other is so much more interesting than fighting over a boy.

it is. like imagine them having a girls weekend while diggle/roy/oliver are out doing gods know what, god knows where.

also, laurel could be the one that felciity talks to about palmer! felicity totally needs a girlfriend for that kind of talk

Yeah she does, she doesn't seem to have many girlfriends, there are so many opportunities for Laurel/Felicity this season, I hope they actually take some of them.

yeah, they both need more girlfriends, i mean what happened or Laurel's law friend in season 1? she needs someone like that! and Felicity could be that girl

Yeah I definitely agree. They need more female interaction after they have gotten rid of both Sara & Felicity's lawyer friend. It's logical that they would get that from Laurel/Felicity

agreed. there really needs to be that girl/girl dynamic on the show. the girls need it when talking about things! the boys are great, but not the same
