The short flashback with them in season 2 is so sad. They were a happy family.

I wonder why Laurel and Sara rebelled so much? Is it that they take after their mom or was it the fact that their dad is so over-protective? But it doesn't seem that they got into too much trouble as teenagers. Just normal stupid behaviour until Sara and Oliver started sneaking around.

Even Sara & Oliver sneaking around is just stupid teen stuff. It's wrong and it hurt Laurel a lot but it's not unheard of for teenagers.

Sara was a teen. I'll cut her some slack. Oliver was 21/22. He should have had a little bit more brains and self-control.

No its not and Oliver should have known better, but guess Laurel spooked Ollie. They spooked each other

Oh I completely agree, there is no excuse and it says a lot about Laurel as a person that she was willing to forgive both of them but I do think Sara was just being a dumb teenager, being completely selfish and not thinking about anything other than herself but that still doesn't excuse it.

Mel its one of the things that I love about Laurel, she's so forgiving and looks for the best in everybody. Plus she has had 5 years and think seeing Ollie brought all types of feelings. So she dealt with those and forgave them both

oh i agree it just shows how amazing sara is as a character, that she was willing to forgive the two of them and become close to her sister again and become friends with oliver
