I felt like it was an ok episode but like with most things in this show it failed in the emotional aspect because they failed to bring any of this about beforehand.
This is episode 12! All this build up to Vince should've been done since at least 6x09. He should've been helping Dinah at least without her knowing. Black Siren... Loved it but again....could've been soooo much better if A. this had been her first REAL kill of the season and B. If they built up her relationship with Cayden some more. Cayden lost a son, she lost a father, they could've had some morbid father/daughter type relationship going on. Help us understand why she is really helping him outside of the "you saved my life so im going to follow you around until you die" Caydens team is slowly crumbling from the inside without his knowledge but we've had literally 1 scene where all of them are in the same scene together but they never even spoke to each other outside of Cayden. Why are they all together? Do they even like each other? Do they even know each others names? If you have a team good or bad they have to have some sort of connection and common thread outside of "im evil, duh!" NTA...the writers are really doing them no favors and I hope they know it because they have the team fail at every.single.thing it is so bad, embarrassing, cringe-worthy, and maddening. The writers arent even giving the team a fighting chance! Vince dying couldve been the straw that broke the camels back. This is where the team could've REALLY split into two, one half ready to stop playing nice and the other still doing Olivers partial light and love. I dont know why we had to wait half a season for the season to really get started. Why must you do this to us MG? |

I have to admit I only FW through the episodes and skip every scene where Katie isn't there so I don't have much clue about what's going on
I did love Siren's scene with Quentin. it was such a beautiful montage of Laurel that he's shown her (of course he couldn't have had some of those moments recorded, like Laurel rescuing the kid, but that's not the most unexplicable thing this show's ever done). I like Quentin's approach and that he won't give up on her, but I'm pretty sure she was overwhelmed by all that. the old Laurel was a real hero, and to project all that on Siren, who's clearly struggling with where she wants to stand and she must think that she could never live up to that Laurel, it's too much. she needs to start with baby steps, like resisting the urge to kill anyone who stands in front of her so it's gonna be a long process. also, I don't see why this one kill wouldn't allow her to be redeemed in the future, because let's be honest here, the TA members have done much worse things before, starting with their leader __________________

Aw Aron.. I think they just focused on Ollie struggling in the first half of the season.. wahtever for.. Now Illiam is on board with TeamGA I guess.. #bazinga...
It's fun to see how they shot the scene where Laurel followed Quentin and she wasn't eve in the endproduct Tbh I don't really care about Dinah or Vince.. The actors do a great job, but I just can't get into caring about those characters because everything feels so off about them.. I still have the feeling we hardly know wnything about them.. and them becoming superheroes or vigilantes it feels kinda not fitting.. but meh.. whatever.. Katie just kicked ass when Quentin showed her all of his Laurel.. you could see the struggle going on inside her.. I just wished we could have seen some of that when she came back on Cayden's side.. Also I do think her killing Vince doesn't make her redemption any less possible.. I mean Ollie has killed quite a lot in the past.. and he for all should be able to see the good in her Also Vince was not a good guy all the time.. look at what he did as Vigilante in season 5 and he had a chance of redemption now __________________

however good a job Juliana does, I can't warm up to her character and probably never will. it could be anybody, I still wouldn't because nobody can take Katie's place as BC. it's just always gonna be a no from me. losing Laurel hurt too much and she worked so hard for years to become BC, and I know this might be ancient history by now but I'll never be over that. also the fact that we'd already had a Dinah Drake in Laurel's mother, but I know I just sound like a broken record. so it's just not right
