I'm excited to re-watch this season cause it was such a tough season for her I personally myself enjoyed the struggles that she went though and everything that she went though. Katie owned it all and just was amazing even if Laurel herself went though an extremely tough time. She was able to pick herself back up and became stronger from it, plus having Sara back in the fold was amazing

Im rewatching S2 and I am surprised that they didn't have The Queen family pissed or feeling betrayed by Laurel for having to try to convict Moira. These writers like the drama, but good for them not taking the bait.

It sucks that Laurel never really got any "redemption" when it came to Sebasation Blood, everyone just wrote her off because of her substance abuse issues but it seems like no one was willing to take back any doubt after all was said and done.

I REALLY miss Laurels friend from CNRI, it was nice to see her again briefly in S2. Wish they would have her come back.

I don't see that the Queen family would ever have felt betrayed Laurel pretty much grew up in their home and live from dating Oliver, they all know how her heart is and she was only doing her job

I finished my S2 rewatch today, first time since the season aired that I have watched it. Season 2 for the most part was REALLY good, the season arc was tight, they had a clear direction of where they wanted to go, the action was top notch, forgot how great Felicity was during the entire season, the flashbacks suited what was going on in modern day perfectly just as the flashbacks should.

I've been afraid to rewatch it because of Laurels storyline but it wasn't as bad as I remembered it. It could've been better but it wasn't flat out horrible. One big thing I didn't like about her storyline was she spent the whole season being "wrong" about majority of things even though she was right about some situations/people and had justification in some of her anger, but everyone around her though opposite and when she was proved to be right, they would just say "oh, you were right" and just move on. Whereas she had to constantly apologize and put herself down.

They could've given her more to prop her up and prepare her to be Black Canary in Season 3. Sin should've been a Laurel storyline, Ted Grant could've been a big storyline for her during the 2nd half of the season. She could've met Ted during AA and she could've bonded with him and it could've lead to her training underneath him and we could've seen her take out a thug during Slades siege on Starling.

There were some minor inconsistencies that made laugh. Mainly the whole, Oliver/Sara wear masks and everything around their eyes are blacked out by black face paint that Oliver was wearing at the beginning of the season. But when they take their masks off, the paint is just gone as if it is apart of their masks. That just made me laugh.

And Sara's jacket lol, the jacket she gives Laurel at the end of S2 seems to be the one that she wears as Canary, they look alike. But the one she wears as Canary is like stitched up in the back to further give throwback to Black Canarys fishnets, but the jacket she gives to Laurel is not stitched up and this is the jacket that Laurel appears to wear as Black Canary. But the jacket she wears as Black Canary is a longer jacket then the short jacket that Sara gives her.

But I'm clear on the redemption thing after Blood. They should have given her credit

It's clear the jacket isn't the same I don't mind tbh. When she first wore it I think it's pretty much the same, but with the costume it's a different one :nod.
