Honestly, I can't stand Benedict or Martin Freeman. They've said some pretty racist and elitist things. So meh on both of them.

And when Elementary (Sherlock TV show on CBS) was announced, most of the Sherlock crew said some pretty unkind things about the new show/cast. They were acting like they had a monopoly on the Sherlock character and how dare the Americans make a show without consulting them. Martin called Lucy Lui a dog during an interview and some some sort of a rape joke. Oh, they all said it was British humor and us Americans didn't understand it, but whatever. I'm over them. I liked the Hobbit movies despite them lol.

This is why I was not happy with Benedict as Doctor Strange. Some people can look past the comments and still enjoy an actor's work, but I can't. It makes me side eye them hard, but Martin more so than Benedict. Oh well, they have enough fans to cancel out my dislike.
