I had to admit this was one of my first marvel movies and I didnt like it at first besides the ending I just watched it cause chris was in it

yeah most people who read the comics said this is the best comic related movie but at that point in time i didnt know much about marvel i only watched it cause Chris was in it

Yes. Red Skull takes the Tesseract from Tønsberg in 1941. Steve crashes the plane in 1945. Mst of the movie happens in 1943 though.
