I loved his ending. I'm glad he went back in time to be with Peggy and just live the life that he lost for 70 years. I'm glad he had that closure in his life.

Y’all can read what I wrote in the Steve & Peggy thread.
 My one complaint about the movie is why Dominic Cooper didn’t play Howard Stark.  I know John Slattery had played him several times, and I guess the audience is more familiar with him playing Howard, but Dominic could have easily pulled it off in this scenario, just like Hayley & James were able to, but maybe, he was too busy filming “Preacher” or something. ETA: Came across this article & I guess it kind of makes sense why Dominic didn’t play him. Why was Dominic Cooper replaced with John Slattery as Howard Stark in Avengers: Endgame? __________________

I just think it would have been neat to have Dominic play a slightly order Howard, from when we last saw him in Agent Carter, and gray him up a little bit, and tie-in all the Agent Carter cast. It would have been fun to see James acting along-side Dominic again, but I guess you can’t have everything.
