I did!!
Y'all I've been bawling for the last few hours. I woke up to use the bathroom at 4 AM and then got back in bed but i couldn't fall back asleep. I went to scroll through my Tumblr and found out that Jonghyun of SHINee, a kpop group I listen to, committed suicide. He was only 27. The public persona idols show to the fans, smiling faces, happiness, hides whatever else they may have going on. I'm so sorry this sweet sweet man who talked about mental illness and publicly showed support to the LGBT community (both huge taboos in the Korean community) felt this was the only way out. that is terrible news. so sorry to hear that mee. its been all over my news feed today about it but i have no idea who he is. but thats terrible that he felt that was the only answer

I cried most of the day yesterday. It seems silly to cry over a person I didnt know personally, but he was a person I admired greatly as a musician and advocate. I think I'll be fine once his funeral passes. I've been trying to keep myself busy today so I don't dwell on his passing too much. I want to remember him for the beautiful person he was.
