From the sound of things from the writers Steve/Cap will be important. I agree, he's like the heart of the team and the only one on the team that can really lead. I have a feeling the originals will be the center of these two next Avenger films.

Hmmmm... now that the movie isn't going to be two parts, have they changed the filming schedule? I remember Chris said it was going to be a nine month shoot, but if it's now just one movie, they wouldn't need that much time.

I think they're still going to film them back to back. From what I gather this was always the plan. I think the Infinity War film will effect the next Avengers film, but not in a Lord of the Rings kind of way.
