I'm fine with changes as long as they make sense and if the essence of the story is there

I am just a little unsure if Teresa is staying with the boys throughout the Scorch.. I keep seeing all these people panicking over it. I know that some people were not a fan of the 'Betrayal' but that is such huge and powerful dynamic of their relationship. I am praying they don't screw it up.

I've noticed that people are against Teresa being with them because they hate her..

there's a glimpse at the end of the trailer of what I think will be "the betrayal", where Teresa is with WCKD soldiers and Thomas is held back by others, and they leave with some aircraft. while I hated that it had to happen, it really showed how much Teresa cared about Thomas..but personally I won't mind if they change it a bit so he won't be mad at her and suspicious of her throughout the next one, which was always so painful

I am not about hating Teresa at all.. I completely understood why she did what she did.. but I also understand Thomas's reaction. It's a crappy situation, but they both reacted in ways that are believable. I won't be mad if Thomas forgives her a little quicker, but I still want the 'betrayal' to happen.. it makes so much sense, and I would hate for them to change such a powerful part of the series.

I understand Thomas reaction. I always found the fans harsh about Teresa since we know more about it than Thomas.

^^ no I know you don't hate her, but I've seen so much hate towards her since the trailer came out, it's crazy

I think everyone would've had difficulties trusting her again after "the betrayal" until it made complete sense in TDC.
that's what have always worried me that they're not focusing on Thomas and Teresa's connection as much as they should because without that the betrayal won't make sense either if it's like in the book

like, you wouldn't believe Thomas actually cares that much, nor why Teresa would do it. it only makes it harder that the telepathy is left out but we'll have to wait and see what they planned..
