I wouldn't mind the scene where Newt gives Thomas his note but I'm not sure whether that will be in the film or if it would work in the world Wes has created for these books

It's because of how radically different 'TST' movie was to the actual book
I don't know if Wes has gone closer to the book for this one, or is he is continuing to go way off base  __________________

It would make more sense if he stuck to his movie verse version of the book rather than actually following the book now

I don't know, 'TST' was not really well received
I just want Wes to try follow the arc of the books again. I get that movie translations are different, but when you veer too far off the main arc, the payoff is not good __________________

 yeah I think it has veered off way too far from the books so I find it hard to believe they could follow the original storyline now  |

It was pretty hammered on by critics and fans alike
 It made less money then the first one as well  I mean, Wes obviously has to change certain things, which is fine and if he wants to shake up some of the deaths, that is cool as well, but I really do want him to go back to more of the book formula.. for the main part anyway __________________

In some ways, it's not surprising that it didn't do too well because of the amount of changes he made to the film and veering off to far from the books clearly didn't make the fans happy
hopefully he puts elements of the last book in this film  We've got movie stills finally!
