Maybe.. apart me thinks it might be a better alternative then to have them go into that weird au world

I will hunt Wes down if he creates a cure at the expense of Thomas.. I feel like that happens too much in movies and books and it would be really cliché if the hero of the story ends up dying to save everyone

Well I'd be disappointed and sad if the cure will be to the expense of Thomas dying but I wouldn't be surprised if a cure is found/made though.
