They are the original gladers. Tasked with figuring out the maze and keeping order in the glade. One is quite hot-headed and reckless. The other calm and nurturing. Although they differ in ways, they can always look at one another and know what they want and need. They will do anything for their glader family and each other.

★ Minho was on the verge of tears when he read Newt's goodbye note on the berg. "He's gone."
★ Minho was determined to find Newt in TDC: "But right here, right now, I’m making a decision and you’re going to do what I say. And if anyone pushes back, to hell with you. But first we're going to find Newt."
★ "He looked like his heart had been shattered" when they left Newt in the Crank Palace.
★ When TBS was asked "If you were to choose between Minho and Thomas, who will you save?", he said "Minho, I have known for a long time... I think I might have to go with Minho just because I know him more."
