I looked it up and they already renewed the show back in November.

If I were Jaimie, I would have been iffy about coming back too. I mean, other than a few scenes, most of them were spent being the unrequited third wheel in Thor and Jane's relationship and now Thor and Jane aren't even together anymore.

I think Jaimie would have loved to come back regardless of the storyline - the MCU still means quite some publicity and exposure, and she always sounded very excited and committed in her interviews.
Sif probably had her part in the story before the script rewrites, and was cut off after the changes.

I wonder if Marvel will show up at SDCC this year or if they will skip it like last year and just wait for D23 (Disney's expo) July of next year to show some Thor stuff.

It's a strong cast. Hopefully it won't be wasted on a weak script and at-all-costs humor.
I'm sure a lot of people are excited about Hela.

I must admit that I didn't know the character until I read about his addition to the movie, but from what little I could read of his role in the comics, he sure has potential.
