Good morning. Although after looking at news this morning, I am shocked and appalled by everything! I feel better-gonna start taking my Christmas stuff down today. Christmas was ruined but because I got covid I couldn't take the stuff down.

yeah the DC events are terrible. its horrible to think people are capable of doing such terrible things to each other like that at a political event.

I'm all for peaceful protests but they crossed the line-many lines. It's just sad for all. They killed a Capital cop...I have no words for that. I heard there were many other protests in other cities. I don't know if those were peaceful or not. You NEVER break into and destroy property-once one person gets violent like that, it's over.

DC children are taught from the time they are kids that they absolutely must respect the federal buildings. People on tours walking too slow will suddenly have 3 cops show up to usher them along. A man once bumped into a temporary barricade while riding his bike past the White House and had Secret Service/cops draw their guns on him. Soooooo how did they boneheads make in into the Capital building? When BLM had their march in the summer to the Capital, the steps and the statue were guarded with cops and the National Guard. And don't tell me this was a surprise attack because it wasn't. Trump had already tweeted a few days before that he would see his supporters on January 6th. There were groups formed on Facebook and Reddit to discuss what to do. His speech the morning of literally egged the crowd to take the Capital. When his term is over, I hope he goes to federal prison for sedition.

Who knows what's gonna happen now. The whole thing is just sad. I believe he went into it 4 years ago with good intentions. But he's not capable of being a leader. And now he just needs to go. Whatever happens with Biden, happens. If he dies in office or they declare him incompentant, and trust me, that's what I think will happen, doesn't matter now and there's nothing that can be done to stop this train wreck. The electoral college is how this has been done and the man won.
