There's a strawberry festival in a small town near us so we might check it out.

I love strawberries. I can't have a lot of them because they are high in oxalate and I can't have a lot of that or I will have kidney stones again.

There's a lawyer that has a bunch of TV ads that showed up and sang a song. He's kind of famous in the city lol. Bought some strawberries. Just need to buy some vanilla ice cream so I can chop up some strawberries and mix it in.

That does sound GOOD! I cut up the strawberries in little pieces and put sugar on them.

Yep! It's been kind of chilly and rainy all week though. I don't mind since we had that one nasty week of super hot weather.

Amen sister! I really don't know how me and the dogs survived it. I do have 1 portable air conditioner and it cools one room. And I had a bunch of fans going-3 of them have bit the dust from constant use. We also have an attic fan-which the belt chose May to break so I really HAD to get the air fixed then. I have to have a/c or else I would be sick all the time with migraines and my body overheating. I even use the fan during the winter because of my hot flashes.
