So, tomorrow my dad is having a second surgery. I can't even be there with him because I gotta go with my mother to her brain scan appointment, I'll go see him once I'm back from the other hospital. I just hope both things go well, because the alternative terrifies me too much to even contemplate it.

The surgery went well, although it was more difficult than the first. My dad spent a longer time in the hospital, too, and me with him.
Mom's brain scan seems to show a positive progress - fingers crossed for the visit with the neurosurgeon.

I've been crazy tired trying to manage things at home, at work and around the hospitals. Now that my dad is back home I should be able to taste some normalcy again, though.
