All Fired Up looks super pretty. I want to experiment with lipticks, but afraid to waste money if I don't like it. I'm not used to having it on, so it feels weird when I do

and lip primers would work! I think lip balms would work the same?

I think in the MAC stores they let you try the lipsticks on? You could start with some lighter shades of pink and go up from there, to see how bold you can go.

I was a nudes/lipgloss kind of girl until one year/one year and a half ago - I had like, two lipsticks and two glosses total, and they were super safe browny/pinky light shades.
And then I don't know what happened - a shop assistant convinced me to try a red, bright lipstick, the kind of color I used to be terrified would make me look like a clown, and turns out I enjoyed it!

Now I have the opposite problem - I rarely pick up the nudes when I have to put lipstick on because I feel like I'm putting on "nothing" and only bother with colorful shades.

In a lesser way it does, but you should go for the ones heavy on petrolatum (silicone?)
I usually buy organic lip balms, and while they help with the application of matte lipstick, they don't do much to make it stay put and last longer.

I watched the Batman vs Superman teaser yesterday and I'm liking the way Ben Affleck looks in it. Well, I call him Batfleck and Beastfleck.

It's going to be so weird seeing Ben as Batman. Christian Bell will always be Batman too me.
