The doctors are out… after 13 episodes. Fox will not be ordering a full season of Red Band Society, and the hospital dramedy will wrap production next month after completion of its 13th episode. Two more episodes will air — tonight and Dec. 3 (both at 9/8c) — before the show goes off the air. The remaining three episodes of the season will be scheduled at a later date. A network insider says Red Band could still return for a second season, but that seems unlikely. Fox's decision to pull the plug — sorry! — on the current run does not mean that it's out of the picture completely. The end of production comes at the conclusion of the first 13 episodes, nine of which will have aired as of Wednesday night. After the tenth debuts in December, the remaining three will be shelved to air at a later date. Its time slot goes to big swing Empire in January.

we need to get everyone together and watch next weeks finale. hopefully high ratings will help fox reconsider this show. i want a second season !!!
