Yeah heaps of YouTubers have got the Switch and game a week early! Some have had the hardware issue with the left joycon though where it disconnects while in game...A day one update should fix that! I mean, the PS3 had the same issue with its controller on release...

I'll be using the pro controller so the joy con issue won't bother me to begin with, but I'm sure it will be a day one fix too anyway.

I just got my text message from EB Games (the Aussie franchisee of Gamestop, much like how Hungry Jack's is to Burger King) they sent me a message saying that my Switch and Zelda is ready to pick up!

Amazon is preparing for dispatch for Breath of the Wild, but I'm still waiting for a message from Zavvi to dispatch the Switch....I swear, If it doesn't dispatch today in time to arrive tomorrow I will be so mad.

I will be working this weekend through till Tuesday so if my Switch doesn't come tomorrow I won't be able to play it until Wednesday at the latest!
 I do have three of the Breath of the Wild amiibo though, which arrived today from Nintendo itself.  And my copy of the game is definitely arriving tomorrow. So I'll have the game, but won't be able to play it. Sucks, big time. But, what can you do.  I'll just have to carry on playing Twilight Princess HD Hero Mode which I started last week.__________________

Today's the day!
 It's finally here!  I decided to buy Wii U version of the game this morning since my Switch hasn't been dispatched from Zavvi. I know that means I bought the game twice another £60 but I couldn't wait any longer to play the game. And wow. This game is like nothing I've ever played before.  There's so much to do, so much to see, to collect....I was getting totally lost, and that's just on the Great Plateau. It definitely takes a little while to get used to the controls and the inventory and how to use your items effectively. The frame rate does dip quite a bit when playing on TV, but it actually runs pretty smoothly on the Gamepad. My Switch copy of the game did arrive today as expected, I'm loving the Master Sword statue which is really cool. __________________

Well done!
 I haven't had the time to play more than a couple of hours on Friday just getting used to the controls and exploring. The enemies are tough, even the bokoblins can kill you pretty instantly if you're not careful! I really want to play the Switch version more though, but I will continue to just explore the Plateau on the Wii U until then.__________________
