I've long been one of the few online voices to be a supporter of Xbox One...even back when they were online only and no used games (I refuse to buy used). However, the past few days I've been thinking about getting a PS4 at launch and give Xbox One until they release one not only cheaper, but without a stupid Kinect. I even had a dream that I bought a PS4, lol.

Uncharted was based off Tomb Raider, which was based off Indiana Jones....but Uncharted did it the best. New Tomb Raider piggybacked on what worked for Uncharted series. I hope we have a next gen Uncharted!

Is anyone else going to participate in the Every 2 Minutes promotion from Mountain Dew and Doritos? I have 1000 points banked right now and I hope it's enough to win an Xbox One. I'm not going to go for the fancy bundles, just the console. That's probably the only way I'd get one for a year or so is if I won it for free. My brother won the mountain dew promotion before the 360 came out and had it a week and a half before anyone else did. I'm hoping lightning will strike twice!

Alright guys, absolute best news to report. This morning, I got an email from Microsoft saying I just won an Xbox One. Immediately I think it's spam and almost delete it. Then out of curiosity, I google the number they said to call...it's the Microsoft Store. Then I take to Twitter and see that Xbox is tweeting "SURPRISE" to people and thanking them for being valuable gamers by giving out everything from a copy of Killer Instinct to Xbox One and bundles with Gold, and a bunch of games. They met me half way. It said I won a copy of the Xbox One Console and Forza 5. After playing phone tag with employees trying to figure out how to redeem the offer, finally they did it and I just got the confirmation email that my xbox one is ordered and i'll have it on my doorstep on release day. So much for going PS4, lol. I'm so happy!!! Just saved 600 bucks!

So looks like all the good Xbox One headsets will be released in February (which makes no sense to me). I'm going to look if I can find a Tritton one. Seems like I need to just get a 25 dollar play and charge for Xbox One and I'll be all set!
