Old Thread: The X-box, and the "360"...Oblivion and Gears of War!

I'm still waiting to hear from Microsoft about having my system replaced or repaired since suffering the "Three Rings of Death." I'm kinda bummed since I hear the RE:5 demo is out.

Never played any of the RE games but love the movies

Anybody played Tomb Raider: Underworld? I just feel that I'm getting through it pretty quickly and thats rare for me because I tend to get stuck with playing a game for ages. Thats how it is with Anniverasy right now

because I looked at a menu page for a walkthrough and looks like I'm already half through. I just started over the weekend too

There are RRoD-proof 360s available you know.

They MUST have been made after November 2007, their wattage MUST be 175w or 150w. You can check the MFD date while the 360 is in the box before buying it (it has a small cut hole on the box about an inch long where you can see the MFD date and serial number on the 360.) Then after opening it up while still in the store, check its power usage. If it differs from the above, get your money back for it has a high chance to get the dreaded RRoD...

I don't like the look of the underwater bits - I HATED Lara swimming underwater on Anniversary and Legend!!

I don't like swimming with Lara in Anniversary but in the new one, its not bad at all. Never did Legendary yet though

Was the TR game with her in the city called Angel of Darkness.. I played it before but can't remember the exact name now.. lol.. I'm glad TR got back to being back its old roots.

Yay new thread

As far as the question on the Resident Evil 5 demo. Yes I played it, and it was awesome. Cant wait to get the game and beat the whole thing. Im real good when it comes to the games. I beat all 4 of them, I think the 2nd one is my favorite though with Leon and Claire.

You will understand much more of the back-story if you play the others RE games for they will reference things that happened in the past games here and there... Eg: Like how Leon, Ada and Krauser knew each-other. You'd understand to a deeper level about their shared history if you played the older games too. But I am sure they designed it in such a way that you can understand the summary of their past without playing the games as they did when they made RE4.
