Wal-Mart, Blockbuster, or GameStop. I try to get used games unless it's something I'm just desperate for, in which case I hit up Wal-Mart.

I usually get mine on ebay actually...I think if you just wait a little bit after the game comes out there is a drastic drop in price.

I thought this would also be a fun one to bump.

I buy my games from either GameStop or Amazon. I like Amazon because I don't have to pay tax and get free two day shipping. However, GameStop has the rewards program and after every few games, I have enough points to get a 10 dollar gift card. If they're games I"m buying anyways, I don't mind doing it at GS to get the points. I preordered my New Nintendo 3DS XL through them and will definitely buy my Wii U through them too. Oh, the points for that!!!

I've had a string of bad experiences on ebay that actually led to me being banned from there. I refused to give a refund from some guy who I had proof he received and signed for the item, but ebay sided with him AND he refused to send it back.

It's understandable you're reluctant to shop there after a bad experience. I've bought a lot of stuff on ebay, not just games, and I never had any problems. I was always refunded for a few items that never arrived.

Back when I had 4000 dvds, multiple hundreds of CDs, etc...I sold them all on ebay. I used to use it so much. Then, it was like 4 bad experiences in a row and of course, now I"m banned from using them,LOL...so I have no choice but to avoid.

Only way to be. They just made me photograph my student ID to verify me for another year and was, of course, approved for the half off price of 49 bucks! I need to pay that next week now that I remember it. I haven't ordered anything on Amazon in 2 weeks. I feel lonely not getting UPS packages at my door I need to change that.

I get mine from EB Games (The Aussie version of Gamestop - they bought EB Games a short time ago) JBHifi or online at playasia.com (for banned and censored games in Oz I get from that site as I can pick and choose the region coding of games that are 100% uncensored and WILL work even if it is region set for PAL only for such a game rare though that is, I will be able to pick which version of which region I need to make it play.) That is what I did for L4D/L4D2/No More Heroes/ManHunt/Mortal Kombat/Borderlands/Brutal Legend and a few others that had bad censorship or being banned. MK was banned so I could not even do anything online for MP games or DLC.

All that censorship makes me so mad! COol that you can still buy games that will work. Do they do that for new generation games, too?
