I want to buy that game soon. I am about to play the censored L4D2 demo...

ETA: Left4Dead2 has dismembering Zombies removed and no blood - Australian release for we have no Adult ratings for games... I am going to buy an import from Play Asia as I did for Left4Dead.

Until we get an adult ratings for games, this is where the Aussie dollars will go from me, overseas.

They think having no adult ratings for games here will protect kids yet we still have the same games released with virtually no removal of stuff: eg Fallout3 was banned for a short time until they changed the name of a drug from Morphene to some ficticious drug so that kids can play it and be good - ignore the bashing and shooting of people to pieces and even eating them if you want....that is okay for kids to play through. If we had an R rating for adult games, we could have these games only for adults to buy, you need id ffs! So the kids are much safer WITH an adult rating for games here than as it is still without one...

CoD4. I might be able to buy MW2 tomorrow for there is a rumour that a chain of big stores here will have them on sale early. They are legally allowed to sell them early in Oz for it is a voluntary agreement to sell them on 'release day'. So some stores can sell them early if they wish. The same applies for CDs and DVDs too. I have more than once had CDs a week or more before they are released worldwide.

Okay since you played the L4D2 demo recently I have a question for you: when you killed the 'infected', did your version have no blood splatters, no arms/legs able to be shot off and when the infected fall to the ground did they fade into nothingness within 1 second? That is what my demo has - it sucked! If that is what my censored version is going to be like then I am ABSOLUTELY going to be buying an imported version!

If you can't remember then please spend 1 minute and try and notice these things for me. It was so lame that it felt like i was playing an on the rails shooter such as Virtua Cop or the old GoldenEye 007 where enemies disappear within a second of killing them...But GoldenEye 007 had a reason - its processing power couldn't retain the bodies you killed once they hit the floor so they did the fade-out tactic. Perfect Dark was able to retain about 20 bodies after killing them. Also you could shoot their heads after dead for a few seconds which rebounded then shoot the bods and get blood stains on the body - much more violent then the new L4D2 by the looks of it!

Left4Dead (non-censored Aussie version that I imported from overseas for my 360) I will do the same thing for L4D2 when it is released too.

I am an adult, I should be allowed to play an adult game in all its adult glory.

I don't know about CD's and movies but it is not unheard of for used electronic stores to have these items early because people get access to them for so many reasons and wish to just sell them for cash. and I have heard that COD4 will be released at some stores at midnight such as Best Buy and Gamestop. Is your brother going to be in line at midnight?

Yes, we played that version too. I think this version was released because technically it's Microsoft is making it available to all ages to try out, I guess. When you purchase it in store, a certain age requirement or parental permission must be in place to have access to the gore that is shown in this game. But good point - it did kind of suck not to see all the action that you're used to seeing in Left for Dead.
